Gilda’s Club 05/21/14
How better to celebrate the coming of summer than drawing with sand?! The kids came up with their favorite beach scenes: a beach wedding, a crab and seagull picnic, mermaids and sand castles. Then we drew those scenes together, traced the lines with glue and poured black and white sand over the pictures. It worked great! Thank you so much, kids, for your bright energy and wonderful ideas, and thank you to our volunteers: Pedro Delgado, Drew Dernavich, Barbara Garrison, Oded Naaman, Elizabeth Winter, and Director of our events at Gilda’s Club, Franz Palomares.
