We got to draw with thirty kids at one time thanks to Mt. Sinai’s call-in show, KidZone TV.  New member, Michael Arnold, gave a lesson in how to draw Sesame Street character, Elmo, and our Director of Mt. Sinai Events, Elana Amity, showed how to draw kitty cats as both cartoons and in a realistic fashion.  Thank you, volunteers, and thanks kids for joining in the fun!

We love New York!  In honor of our beautiful city, we helped the kids draw their favorite things to do, people to see and places to go in the Big Apple.  We drew everything from bodega cats who eat carrots to ice cream trucks driven by gruff old men to tigers in the Central Park Zoo and wild creatures climbing the Empire State Building.  Thank you, volunteers: Ray Alma, Elana Amity, Erin Shigaki, Ed Steckley and Elizabeth Winter!
